I love the new collection by Kiana Mosley on Artfully Walls. It’s probably because I long to live in Hawaii again, but I just can’t get enough of her tropical prints. I’m considering adding the pineapple to Baby Vail’s nursery, and I’m also toying with the idea of adding the leaf print on the right to our living room. Not that I need any new artwork…
I haven’t really started working on the nursery yet, but I love this driftwood and felt ball mobile from FeelFeltFelt on Etsy. Looks like it would be simple enough to make myself, although finding felt balls in cute colors is proving to be more difficult than expected.

I love the idea of monthly baby photos. Although I also liked the idea of weekly/monthly pregnancy photos and I don’t think I’ve taken a single good one. Anyway…I absolutely love the way Joy from Oh Joy! captured monthly photos of her youngest daughter. They aren’t overly staged, the numbers are fun, and the backgrounds add a nice pop of color. Hopefully I’ll be able to recreate something similar once Baby Vail gets here. We’ll see!
Have a great weekend everyone! My baby shower is tomorrow and I’m so excited! Then Monday I’ll drive all day back home to Maryland. It has been an amazing summer but I can’t wait to get home to our tiny apartment. More importantly though, I can’t wait to see my wonderful husband who should get home next week too.
