I’ve always heard that you should take your maternity photos somewhere between 27-32 weeks when your bump is nice and cute. These days I look like I’m smuggling a turkey under my dress (these were taken the day after Thanksgiving, after all), but I’m so glad my friend Stephanie of Stephanie H Photography took these photos for me when I was 37 weeks pregnant. My belly is big, I’m a bit puffy, walking is difficult…but this is my last pregnancy and I want to remember every special moment of it. It’s the end of an era for me, which makes me a tiny bit sad (3 babies is the perfect number for us though!). So here are my 37 week maternity photos, giant belly and all. Now we just need this little one to make their appearance! We’re ready for you, Baby V!
I borrowed this super affordable non-maternity dress from a friend. It definitely runs small (I’m a size 2 or 4 when I’m not pregnant and am wearing a 10 in the dress). The cape sleeves were perfect and danced in the ocean breeze! The earrings are c/o Courtney Lambert Jewelry, this Etsy necklace is a great dupe for my Tiffany necklace that I never take off, and my gold starfish sandals were from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collaboration back in 2015. I found my giant (and over the top) sun hat at Marshall’s but this one is similar! I thought I’d try my hand at a more “editorial” look…not entirely sure I pulled it off but it was fun trying! All of my makeup (other than eyeliner) is Beautycounter.
