As soon as we got an address out here in Hawaii I ordered a few things for our baby girl that I’ve had my eye on for a while. Here are some of the adorable purchases I’ve made lately…now we just her to get here!
Little Poppy Co. Bow Subscription: When I first heard of a “bow subscription” I thought it was crazy. But then I realized that choosing bows is super overwhelming because there are so many cute options out there. I’d put bows from different companies in my online shopping cart and then never bite the bullet and buy them because I simply couldn’t narrow down my choices. I decided to subscribe to Little Poppy Co. and they send you a monthly set of 3 bows, for just $11.99 a month. The colors and fabrics go along with the seasons and it’s kind of nice just getting new bows in the mail that I can mix and match with all the outfits I have, rather than having to do the legwork myself. I get stressed out where there are SO many options, so if you’re like me then look into Little Poppy Co.! You can also add additional bows (no additional shipping cost) from their exclusive shop too, where only subscribers can purchase bows.
Baby Headbands: The only things I purchased during the Nordstrom anniversary sale were these soft bow headbands by Baby Bling Bows. I’ve seen them on lots of baby girls on Instagram recently so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. The plain ones (no pompom trim) were on sale at the time for 3 for $20 so I bought 6 of them and then I bought 3 of the pompom trim ones for full price. The selection is smaller but Nordstrom prices are $3 cheaper than on SpearmintLOVE, just FYI. SpearmintLOVE is a wonderful resource for the most beautiful baby products and I’ve bought a lot from them, but sometimes they don’t have the best prices 🙂
Pompom Swaddles: I bought two beautiful pompom swaddle blankets from AmaviDreams but they haven’t arrived yet. I bought this lightweight white one and this blush one. Due to the pompoms these are more for use when she’s totally supervised (and let’s be honest…they’re perfect for Instagram photos), but I just couldn’t resist them because they’re absolutely beautiful!
WildBird Ring Sling: I asked y’all on Instagram Stories a few days about for your recommendations on ring slings. The overwhelming majority of responses I got suggested I get one from WildBird. After doing a bit of research and price and color comparison I decided to order one (ok, actually two). I just ordered the cassin color with a gold ring (it’s a gorgeous blush/light pink color) and the dove color with a black ring (a nice light gray color). I love my Baby K’Tan Breeze wraps and Solly Baby Wraps are great too, but I’m excited to give these a shot!
And since we’re talking about baby things, I can’t wait to share the nursery with you once it’s all finished up! (Here is the initial plan I came up with months ago…but it’s looking even better than I had imagined.) The room is pretty much all finished but I’m working on a collaboration with Carousel Designs for the few finishing touches (drapes, bedskirt and a few personalized pieces with baby girl’s name on them), so I’ll do the big reveal once all of that is finalized. Carousel Designs has the prettiest fabric choices and you can customize everything which I think is so neat. I’m pretty sure I’m going to want to live in the nursery once it’s all done!
I've seen several people use those pacifier clips and they are so cute!
Can't wait to see the nursery reveal!
Thanks Catherine! I can't wait for it to fully come together so I can photograph it and share it!
