I’m picky about pull-on shorts. I do not like pull-on shorts with a drawstring and the shorts must be high rise. I found the perfect pair of pull-on shorts at J.Crew in 2022 and they are finally back in stock with lots of beautiful color options! I blogged about these shorts in 2022 and am still such a fan. The Best Pull-On Shorts

 

These pull-on shorts were originally listed as “Pull-On Linen Shorts” back in 2022 but now they’ve been relaunched as the “Tropez Short in Linen,” though they look exactly the same. These versatile linen shorts come in 8 solid color options, 2 stripe options, and one dot option.

In my experience they run true to size with an intentional slightly loose fit. I own the older style of shorts in flax (the perfect neutral khaki color) and white (not sheer at all) and just ordered the red pair in the new option. I foresee the black pair in my future, and may try one of the striped options as well. The high rise helps dress up a tucked in t-shirt and they look great with a button down shirt as well. Also perfect with a crop top or a swimsuit. I look forward to trying them styled with this linen vest!
