Tom and I are currently at my parents’ home on Fripp Island, South Carolina, enjoying a little kid-free time while my parents watch the kids back home in the DC area. It’s been such a treat to sleep late, sip coffee on the porch, go on runs and walks together, and reconnect after a really busy past few years. We’re both working a bit but it really has been such a relaxing trip. And the weather has been about as perfect as it could be for early November! We planned for this to be a really casual trip, so here are the things that I packed with me that have been great for mixing and matching, as well as a few ways I put them together. The real MVP of the trip was my Tuckernuck Americana sweater, which I bought during a big sale a few years ago. It’s so versatile, great for layering, and very comfortable. It’s one of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe!
