You know those skincare products you rely on day after day, year after year because they work so well? While I enjoy trying new products and brands, there are a number of core products from Beautycounter that have a permanent spot in my skincare routine. Today I wanted to share my tried and true Beautycounter skincare products that I turn to again and again, even after nearly 5 years of being a Beautycounter fan (and consultant). I still use many more Beautycounter products than the ones listed below, these are just my very favorite skincare products (I’ll do a makeup post at a later date.)
Tried and True Favorite Beautycounter Products
All links below are through my consultant site (beautycounter.com/katievail), or if you plan to shop you can always search for “Katie Vail” to add me as your consultant if you ever need help with a product! Also just FYI, there is currently a 20% off sale going on site-wide, and you can also get free shipping if you add the brand new All Bright Dark Spot Minimizer to your cart! This is a targeted treatment to apply directly to the dark spots you’re concerned about, kind of like how an acne spot treatment is used, except it’s for dark spots. I just received my order in the mail and look forward to trying it out over the next few weeks! This sale is good through the end of June.
Favorite Daytime Beautycounter Products
Beautycounter Counter Control Clear Pore Cleanser– I love this cleaner, especially when I have a breakout or if I’ve just finished a sweaty workout. It has little scrubbers that also help exfoliate. This is best for oily and acne prone skin!
Beautycounter All Bright C Serum– This daytime treatment has a high dose of vitamin C to help brighten skin and fade dark spots. I use it after cleansing in the morning.
Beautycounter Countertime Antioxidant Soft Cream and Beautycounter Sheer Defense Face Sunscreen– I mix a pump each of these two products every day and then apply to my face and neck. The Soft Cream provides much needed moisture and the sunscreen provides the SPF I need on my face all throughout the year.
Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer– This is the product I use most mornings. I like that it provides a little coverage and the application is really quick and easy and the finish is dewy, not matte. This is the coverage I wear when I do my daytime makeup routine, but it’s often the only product I’ll put on my face. It holds up well while working out and it’s no issue in the pool either. It is lightweight and also has SPF 20. I wear shade No. 3.
Favorite Nighttime Beautycounter Products
Beautycounter Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil– This is my go-to for cleansing my face in the evening. It removes makeup so well and is non-drying. I apply it to a dry face and massage it all over and then rinse it off with these Amazon makeup removing wash cloths. (The perfect combo for removing makeup!)
Beautycounter Cleansing Balm– This is the one and only product I use on nights when I’m tired and just want to get in bed. I use it to remove makeup (apply to a dry face and massage makeup away then remove with a cloth and water), but then I’ll also use it as my evening moisturizer. I just slather it all over my clean face and call it a night. Nice and easy and skin looks brighter in the morning. (Even if you do look like a glazed donut when you get in bed…it’s worth it!)
Beautycounter All Bright Triple Acid AHA Toner– Sometimes you just want a toner to use with a cotton ball to remove extra dirt and grime from your face. This toner does just that, and also helps to brighten skin, refine pores, and resurface dull skin.
Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel– This is my favorite nighttime treatment step. I apply it to a clean face, let it absorb for a few minutes, then apply my night creams over top. It helps smooth and brighten skin, minimizes pores, and helps fade dark spots. Full blog post review of the product can be found here.
Beautycounter Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream– This luxuriously thick night cream is great for dry skin or if you are concerned with anti-aging. It minimizes fine lines and wrinkles and helps firm skin. I’ve been using it for years and love this supreme cream!
Beautycounter Countertime Ultra Renewal Eye Cream– This eye cream is nice and thick and I apply under my eyes then dab on places that are prone to fine lines. It helps smooth fine lines and crows feet and also brighten dark under eye circles. This can be used morning and night, but I prefer to use it only in the evening.
