Today I thought it would be fun to do a round-up of the most popular (best selling) items that I shared in 2022. Most of these things are pieces that I wore over and over again, so by default, I shared them often. When I find things I love I tend to get good use out of them, so all of the items below are things I love, things I shared numerous times while wearing them, and things that many of y’all bought and fell in love with too. I enjoy seeing that the most-purchased items are from a variety of places at a variety of price points, because that is authentic to how I shop. Ranging from Walmart to Tuckernuck and J.Crew (a dedicated Amazon post will be coming later), there’s something for everyone! The top 20 items (in order) are below:
Best Sellers from 2022

I’ve had these raffia sandals for over 2 years now and I practically live in them all summer. They are simple and go with everything! They don’t have any support but I’ve found that I can comfortably wear them all day, even while exploring a new town. They run true to size. The raffia may seem a tad rough at first but after one wear that goes away. They ship from Morocco so shipping takes a while, so plan ahead if you need them for a trip!
2. White 9″ Demi-Boot Crop Jeans ($128, J.Crew)
These white jeans are my favorite! They have an up-to-date cut (meaning, they aren’t skinny jeans) and a comfortable 9″ rise. (After having 3 babies I find higher rises so much more comfortable.) They are not sheer, have good stretch to them, and they can be worn year-round. They are true to size. I wash with oxiclean and detergent to keep them white. As of writing this they are down to $75, and they very rarely go on sale!
3. Pink Crewneck Sweater ($21, Walmart)
This crewneck sweater was an in-store Walmart find and the vibrant pink color won me over immediately. The cut is simple with a crewneck and regular sleeves, and it feels and looks way more expensive than $21. It is true to size.
4. Sadie Knee-High Boots ($348, J.Crew)
These boots are no longer available in sizes other than 12, but I bet they will come back next year too (I originally bought mine in 2020 and they’ve been back in 2021 and 2022). They are the best boots to wear with long and short dresses in the fall and winter and the heel is really comfortable. They’re true to size.
5. Pull-On Linen Shorts (J.Crew)
These pull on linen shorts aren’t currently available but they were my go-to this past summer. I have them in white and the light khaki color. The high rise, pull on style, and light material looked really cute with a cropped top or tucked in shirt. I’ll be sure to share if these come back in 2023. They’re true to size.
6. White Long-Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt ($39.50, J.Crew Factory)
I love a good basic crewneck t-shirt and this one does not disappoint. The material has a subtle slub texture and it’s a favorite thing to throw on with jeans or denim shorts. It is true to size and has a relaxed fit. It comes in tons of colors.
7. White Gauze Button Down Shirt ($89.50, J.Crew)
I love classic outfits so jeans and button down shirts are in constant rotation for me. This gauze button down shirt is so soft and the gauze texture is forgiving and ensures that you can just pull it out of the dryer and go! It is not sheer and runs true to size. I have it in white and a flax color. I wear it year-round.
8. High Rise Kick Crop Jeans ($79.50, Loft)
I cannot express how much I love these jeans, which is saying something because J.Crew has always been my favorite place for jeans. These exact ones are no longer available but Loft makes a high rise “kick crop” in other washes. They’re nice and stretchy with a high rise and perfect length. These are my jeans of choice these days, and they have been for a year now. I sized down a size in my pair, though I also have some Loft jeans that are my normal size, so it’s a little hard to say if they’re tts or not.
9. Straw Covered Stretchy Belt ($20, Target)
I don’t actually own this belt (first pic above) but I shared it often as a dupe for my rattan belt from J. McLaughlin (second pic above). Really cute option at a more attainable price. My favorite way to wear belts like this is with billowy dresses to create a little more shape. Also cute with high rise pants and a tucked in shirt.
10. Racerback Active Dress ($16.98, Walmart)
I have this active dress in black and it white and I wear them to tennis often, or just around the house or town when it’s warm (just add bike shorts!). The cut is flattering and at the time of writing this it is down to $11. Runs true to size. I bought it for my mom too!
11. Park Slope Fleece Turtleneck ($158, Dudley Stephens)
My default winter uniform includes jeans and a Dudley Stephens Park Slope fleece turtleneck. Terry fleece is my favorite (like a fleece version of a sweatshirt) though I like the more traditional vello fleece too. Both fleeces pictured above are vello, but I have a full Dudley Stephens review blog post here! They are just the perfect cozy base layer and the Park Slope length is my preferred option, because it hits around the hips and isn’t too long. I wear my normal size.
12. Black Flutter Sleeve Dress ($128, Tuckernuck)
This simple black dress is so chic, has pockets, and is incredibly comfortable due to the billowy cut. I’m wearing my normal size small but probably could go down a size. Great dress for a date night or event (I wore it to a mother-son dance with Jack).
13. Gold Knotted High Heel Sandals ($34, Lulus)
I don’t own this more affordable version from Lulus (first pic above), but I’ve linked to them a few times as an alternative to my pricier Loeffler Randall Penny Knot Mules (second pic, above). These are a great Loeffler Randall “dupe” that I’ve heard are very comfortable too. I’ve heard that the Lulus pair is tts but Loeffler Randall knot mules run small so size up half a size.
14. Quilted Athletic Vest ($20.98, Walmart)
I love a running vest and wear my 11 year-old lululemon one a few times a week when it’s cold. I figured it would be good to have a second one and when I saw this Walmart athletic vest I had to have it! Runs true to size and comes in a number of colors (the winter white one is so pretty).
15. Long Sleeve Black Lennox Dress ($168, Tuckernuck)
I love this black dress so much that I recently wrote a blog post about 3 different ways I’ve worn it. It’s the perfect long sleeve long black dress, which I now believe is a timeless piece that every woman should have in their closet. The fabric is forgiving and the skirt part is not fitted, though the top is. It runs true to size and is incredibly versatile!
16. Ivory Americana Sweater ($248, Tuckernuck)
Pricy for a sweater, but I wear this American flag sweater so often and got it on a great sale a couple years back. It has a chic oversized fit if you order your normal size. I love this with a pair of jeans or denim shorts and receive compliments on it often. Americana will never go out of style!
17. Tan Joan Sorel Boots ($155, Sorel)
These boots are amazing! So comfortable, great with demi-boot crop jeans (my preferred cut, though they work with other styles too), they’re water-proof, warm…I could go on and on about them. They come in multiple colors and I’d recommend sizing up half a size. I bought mine from Tuckernuck on a sale but they’re cheapest on Zappos now.
18. Irish Linen Button Down Shirt ($98, J.Crew)
I have this linen button down shirt in white and in french blue- it’s definitely a warm weather staple for me. Nice and classic and timeless. It wrinkles, but that’s part of the charm of linen! It runs true to size.
19. White Freedom Moses Sandals ($45, Tuckernuck)
My go-to “bum around” shoes to wear in the summer are Freedom Moses Sandals. They are water friendly, supportive, don’t make the “toot” noise when your foot is wet like EVA Birkenstocks do, and they’re so comfortable. I wear my white pair the most often (they’re nearly 3 years old), but also have them in baby pink and gold. I’m a size 8 and the 8/9 fits me best, though I do have a pair of the 7/8 and they work too-though slightly tight.
20. Tkees Nude Leather Flip Flops ($55, Tkees)
I bought these nude leather flip flops 2 years ago and they’re some of my favorite shoes to wear when it’s warm outside. I really don’t wear flip flops anymore other than these. These come in practically any skin tone and that’s why they’re so wonderful and understated. I have the Pout shade. They run true to size.
