Serena and Lily has long been one of the primary inspirations for the design of our home. I keep all of their catalogs and refer to them time and time again. For years it was purely aesthetic, because we were not investing in furniture or decor in this way (y’all know I’m huge on thrifting and rehabbing older pieces- which we still have!), but now that we own our home I’m finally sprinkling in some Serena and Lily pieces to help set the tone for a tranquil and comfortable home. I think the key for creating a unique home is to have a mix of old and new, high and low, and all different styles, so that’s exactly what you’ll find in the following photos of our home. Thrifted, flipped, cheap, splurgy, DIY, antique, vintage, new…it all mixes together and creates a home that cannot be exactly replicated. I’ve turned to Serena and Lily for key pieces that I could not find elsewhere, or for pieces I’ve had filed away in my mind for years, and I love the coastal and relaxing nod that they’ve added to our home. Serena and Lily has 20% off sales a few times a year, but they only offer 25% off once a year- and it’s happening now! Use code GRATITUDE for 25% off of all Serena and Lily purchases. Today I thought I’d share the Serena and Lily pieces we own (and LOVE), in case you are looking to make a Serena and Lily purchase for your home! More details on these spaces will be in coming posts, too. (All of the professional-quality photos were taken by my dear (and talented) friend, Sarah Bradshaw.)

Old wingback chairs I’ve had reupholstered in S&L Perennials Coastal Blue and White fabric. The upholsterer I use in the DC area is EC Robinson in Alexandria. Mr. Robinson is so talented!
Mr. Robinson also reupholstered this cane-back chair in S&L Perennials Pinstripe Fabric, in Moss
I purchased this Summerland outdoor bell pendant (that looks great indoors too!) at Final Cut Georgia for a steal back in 2020. It’s originally from Serena and Lily though! I have the larger size and it hangs over our dining table.
I splurged on Riviera bistro counter stools for our island and I could not be more pleased. They are incredibly durable and still look brand new, despite our kids eating every meal at them. I just scrub with a firm long bristled brush when needed, to get spaghetti sauce and dried up milk out of the crevices. Totally wipeable and completely kid friendly. 10/10 recommend. (I sold one because 3 fit better than 4 here- the lower photo was taken the day we moved in.)
wave bath towel and hand towel (these towels are so plush!)
Priano wallpaper in Sky– this is in our entryway and stairway and I’m obsessed with it
the tray here is old, but the Westchester Tray is very similar
We have the small Santa Barbara Flushmount in our living room and it’s the perfect natural-textured light fixture!
Additionally, we use these seagrass wrapped glasses daily, this light fixture is in the girls’ bathroom, this wallpaper will be going in Jack’s bathroom (the denim color), my mom purchased the Ojai mirror at the S&L outlet in Hilton Head for me to use in our guest bathroom, the Oceana wallpaper (in Coastal blue/white) will be going in our primary bathroom, we have 2 of these step stools and they’re sturdy and beautiful.
