Men can be so hard to shop for this time of year. If they’re into golfing, fishing, tech stuff, or something specific like that it can be a little easier to narrow it down, but overall I always seem to struggle to find the perfect gift for my husband, dad, and brother. We don’t do a big gift exchange, but I really enjoy giving gifts so I always like to find a few things as a way to express how thankful I am to have them in my life. I’ve rounded up a bunch of gifts for men below, many of which are on sale right now!

Highlighting a few things: we have a few of these Yeti travel mugs for coffee and we use them all the time. I bought this leather laptop bag for Tom in 2020 because he needed to upgrade the bag he carries back and forth to the Pentagon. Tom doesn’t like to carry a big wallet anymore, so I bought this card case to give him this Christmas to help him streamline things. I’m currently obsessed with our Alexa (Amazon Echo) and the smart plugs we have synced to it. I can turn on all of our Christmas lights in the living room with one command! More items below:
I subscribed to your blog some time ago because of your life stories. Since then its become very commercial, a shopping catalog. I’m sure it is more profitable for you, but much less interesting for your readers. Sorry to see it change.

Hi Gretchen, I’m sorry you feel that way. This is a job for me now, although it did start out as a hobby. My children are still young and I only have 2.5 hours of time during the day without a child with me. While I truly miss being able to publish day in the life, weekend recap, smaller DIY type content I truly do not have the time nor the bandwidth to do that these days. As someone who needs to earn money to pay bills (as most of us do), I’ve had to make some changes and sometimes the collage and round-up type content wins out because it is financially beneficial and I have gotten positive feedback from readers because many people find it helpful for someone to round up style ideas or gift content for them. Once my kids are all in school for a longer amount of time I hope to be able to publish more often (I have so much home content I want to share!), but for now I’ve had to pivot to make things work for our family. I do share more day to day stuff on Instagram though, because sharing things on Instagram is much easier and less time consuming than writing long-form blog posts. Please feel free to unfollow if I no longer fit your needs. I wish you the best and thank you for following for the amount of time that you did.
