One of my favorite posts of the month is sharing a recap of the most popular items I shared from Amazon. Amazon sells pretty much anything and everything so you just never know how popular something random will be! The month of January 2022 was pretty consistent with previous months, but there were some new appearances by my favorite socks to wear with boots, a life changing (and affordable) blender we upgraded to recently, makeup removing (reusable) wash cloths that erase stubborn makeup with ease, and the duvet cover that looks like Pottery Barn for a fraction of the cost. To see these products in action, be sure to reference my “Amazon January” highlight on Instagram, and for past favorites you can find previous blog posts below!

This $16 fabric shaver totally revitalizes things like sweaters, leggings, blankets, coats, sofas…you name it! It works so well and helps your clothing and other fabrics last longer and look less worn. Really great tool for under $17.
This Wet Brush is AMAZING for brushing out wild little kid bed head and post-bath tangles! It has the regular bristles but also a lower layer of smaller bristles that smooth hair so nicely and make detangling a breeze. This was the second most popular thing I shared last month, for good reason! We own two, one for the girls and one for myself.
I bought this Rigid Ornament and Christmas Decoration Storage Box last year and it is a game changer when it comes to storing your Christmas decorations! I love it so much that I bought a second one this year for the things that didn’t fit into the first box. Currently $59.99 and worth every penny.
This $19.99 handheld blackhead removing pore vacuum can suck gunk out of your pores if you tend to get blackheads around your nose. Just be sure to steam your pores first (or take a long hot shower) so that they’re open and keep the vacuum moving so it doesn’t give you a hickie on your face. The gunk on the Q-tip below came out of my nose and cheeks. Pretty gross but also quite satisfying!
These pillows are a top seller yet again! They’re incredibly comfortable and since switching over to them I’ve been sleeping better than I have in a long time. The same can be said for Tom! I’m very picky about pillows and hate when they’re too fluffy or too flat, and these are a perfect middle ground. We’ve switched 4 of our pillows in the house over to these and plan to replace the rest soon. $39.99 for a pack of 2.
I’ve been using these face shavers for years now. They’re great for removing peach fuzz (if you hair is not already dark and course it will not grow back in dark and course) and they also remove dead skin and make makeup go on more smoothly. I like to use these Tinkle Dorco face razors at night on a clean dry face, working upwards. Next I use the Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel on top and it stings a bit but in a good way that you know it’s working really well. I wake up nice and fresh faced! These come as a pack of 15 for about $11.
Hanging artwork and photos on the wall is always one of the first things I do to make a house feel like a home. As a military family we’ve lived in more rentals than I can count, and this picture hanging tool is what ensures our art and family photos are hung where they need to be without 5 extra holes in the wall behind the photo. It allows you to mark the wall exactly where the nail needs to go and it makes sure the frame will be level too. I can’t hang anything without this tool! I promise it’ll be the best $10 you’ve ever spent for your home and sanity.
If you want to step up your Apple Watch band game, get this tortoise shell one! $22.99 and it looks cute with normal and dressy clothes and it’s durable enough (because it’s resin) to exercise in! I haven’t taken this band off since I bought it a couple months ago. The neatest part is a bumper type shell that the watch fits into to totally transform the look of your watch. I’m obsessed with this band!
The most recent beauty product that has blown my mind is this set of makeup removing cloths. They can even remove stubborn mascara with just water. I have no clue how they work but if you’re still using a regular wash cloth like I was then you need these in your life! They come as a set of 4 for about $10.
The high-rise leggings I’ve loved for years and years are still a top seller and they remain one of the most worn items in my wardrobe. I have them in so many different colors but black is my most worn. They run small so I size up 1 size to a medium. If you’re pregnant I’d go up 2 sizes from your normal size. They’re fantastic for the postpartum phase too because the waistband is smooth and forgiving. They have side pockets on the legs that I throw a phone in when I’m wandering around with the kids and I even keep my phone there when I run and it doesn’t bounce at all. Can’t recommend them enough! I share a lot more about my love for them (as well as photos of me wearing them while pregnant and postpartum) in this blog post.
Juno Skin Clean 10 Cleansing Balm is a $19.99 cleansing balm that smells amazing and removes makeup incredibly well. I recently switched to a new mascara that is a bit tricky to remove, and I decided to gift this cleansing balm a shot and it works and there’s no need for a second step like makeup remover. The ingredients are quite clean too, and while it won’t replace my Beautycounter products it’s a great affordable alternative that really does work.
I bought this 5 pack of boot socks in 2020 and they’re pretty much the only socks I wear with boots all winter long. They’re especially great with Bean Boots because they’re cute yet not too busy. The marled fabric adds some visual interest yet they’re still nice and simple. Highly recommend! They come in a pack of 5 for about $16.
My new clothing obsession is this sweater tunic! It’s oversized yet chic and is so comfortable, and it looks quite similar to the Free People version that costs a whole lot more. Size down one size, I wear the XS and now have the black, gray and khaki colored sweaters. It would be really great for pregnancy or postpartum too.
I love to start my day with a cup of coffee and my Pressing Pause daily devotional for moms. It really helps me get my heart and mind focused on Jesus and in the right place before my kids wake up and the day gets crazy. Each day is roughly 2 pages and it covers all sorts of topics that are really helpful for busy moms. If you’re looking to incorporate a quick daily devotional into your routine I think this is a really great one!
These faux leather leggings are a top seller yet again, which doesn’t surprise me one bit. Only $29.99 and I prefer them over my much pricier Spanx faux leather leggings! I sized up 1 size.
I finally decided to give the Colorfulkoala joggers a try, and these are so comfortable! They’re the same brand as my beloved Amazon leggings and I’d say they run true to size, though if you want the more traditional looser jogger fit you can size up a size. The waistband is nice and smooth and they’re $34.99.
These simple white photo albums hold 400 4×6 photos. Maybe I’m old school, but I like printing out hard copies of photos so that I can put them in frames and also keep them in a photo album like this. I’m not organized enough to print out photo books! I have 2 of these albums ($21) and plan to add more as needed, later on down the road. We’ve been looking at old photos with the kids lately and it’s a great way for them to talk about the memories they have from living in Hawaii. These look nice on a bookshelf too.
Fleece lined leggings are a must have in the winter if you live in a cold climate. I bought these high rise Baleaf fleece lined leggings in October 2020 and they were my go-to when we got snow last winter. I sized up 1 size to a medium and got the version with pockets. I wore them on all the snowy days we had in January. They’re so comfy and warm- though honestly I’m hoping I won’t have to break them out again this winter. I’m so ready for spring!
I accidentally shattered the glass carafe of my blender (an 8 year old blender I hated anyway), so I decided it was time for an upgrade to a blender that actually worked really well. This Ninja blender is life changing, especially after 8 years of frustration with my older blender. It blends frozen fruit with ease and is fantastic for making smoothies. I should have upgraded sooner! This Ninja blender is much cheaper than a vitamix (only $119) but still performs incredibly and gets fantastic reviews. It also comes with two single serve carafe/to go cups.
I bought this Amazon duvet cover in early 2021 and it is insane how affordable it is for how high quality it feels. We love it! It totally looks like this pricier one from Pottery Barn. We have the one with light blue embroidery, which unfortunately has been sold out for months in the queen size. It’s available in other colors and sizes though!
