Today I’m styling one of my favorite cool weather pieces, a Dudley Stephens Turtleneck Fleece! This is a recent addition to my closet but it’s already gotten quite a bit of use and I know it’ll be on heavy rotation this fall and winter. If you’re unfamiliar, Dudley Stephens is a company owned by two women (sisters and also moms of young children) and they make fleece products in Brooklyn made out of recycled water bottles! I love that they’re incredibly comfy yet they have a chic silhouette too. Best of both worlds! In these photos and the accompanying IGTV video I’m wearing the Dudley Stephens Park Slope Turtleneck in Terry Fleece in the off-white color. Dudley Stephens offers two fleece styles, Terry Fleece and Vello Fleece. The Vello Fleece is plush, soft and very warm. The Terry Fleece has more of a structured feel and it’s not as plush, compared to the Vello. It’s also a better option for warmer weather. I have both versions and it’s impossible to pick a favorite! As far as fit goes, they run true to size unless you have broader shoulders or a larger chest, in which case I’d size up. I’m wearing my normal size small, though if I wanted a more oversized fit I’d probably be comfortable sizing up in this particular style. Keep reading and head to Instagram to see 5 easy ways to wear a Dudley Stephens Park Slope Turtleneck Fleece!
These fleeces are definitely on the pricier side so if you’re looking for a more affordable option here is a $20 cropped style that comes in many colors and here is an oversized style that looks really cozy. Both alternative options look really cute! Also, be sure to check Instagram today because I’m doing a fun giveaway with my friend Kate Atwell of Kate’s Clean Plate! She’s one of my favorites to follow on Instagram (she’s @katescleanplate on there too) and she’s a blue and white lover just like I am, has two darling children, shares incredible recipes and we also share a love for our DS fleeces!
