Y’all, this is my first fall since 2016 and I’m so excited about it! I know I’m going to miss Hawaii even more than I already do once winter rolls around, but I really am looking forward to fall and all the fashion that goes along with the season. My kids have a sweater or two each but essentially have no fall clothes at all. H&M has always been one of my favorite sources for kids clothing, and they’re currently (until midnight tonight on the West Coast, I believe) having a 20% off sale for members of their free loyalty program. Free shipping on orders over $60 too, so I decided to stock up on a capsule wardrobe of sorts for the kids that should all mix and match pretty well. I’m trying to be really deliberate about clothing choices for fall for the kids, so H&M was my first stop. I’ll likely add an olive or navy jacket and coat for Jack, the girls already have some quilted navy hand me down coats, and I need some good shoes for Caroline, but I think we’re about 70% finished with fall shopping. I definitely have a color scheme going on: olive, mustard, dusty rose, navy and some cream and white thrown in. Almost all of the girl clothing was purchase for both Tate and Caroline.
If you’ve never shopped at H&M for kids clothing just know that they tend to run pretty large. Caroline is pretty large for an almost 3 year old and she’s wearing size 2-3Y at H&M right now, and Jack is a giant 4.5 year old and his summer 3-4Y clothing is now too small on him, so I got him size 5-6Y and hope it’ll work. Tate is pretty large as well and just turned 8 months old, but I got her size 9-12M on pretty much everything. Hope that sizing info helps!
