As you may well know, I’m a sucker for coordinated family outfits. Valentine’s Day is coming up and I don’t know the last time I wore hearts on my clothing (probably elementary school!) but I’ve decided to embrace the trend again. After I saw Sarah Tucker feature this sweater with heart elbow patches I ordered it immediately because in my opinion, it’s more of a sophisticated heart sweater and not too cutesy. I got the navy one but it also comes in white, gray and pink. I’m wearing the S-M size, so I’d say it’s true to size. It’s surprisingly soft too! I love that the seams are on the outside (makes it visually more interesting, I think) and the mock turtleneck is nice and cozy. I already had this dress for Caroline (and this striped heart onesie for Tate but she was sleeping so missed the photo shoot, haha) and I knew that they’d go perfectly together. Caroline loves the dress because it has stripes (I’ve trained her well!) and the hearts are actually pockets. Her sweet little bow is from Nashville Bow Co., one of my favorite sources for bows.

Matching Family Outfits for Valentine’s Day
My shoes are old from Target but I linked the most similar pair I could find. Red shoes are great to break out during Christmastime and Valentine’s Day, so choose a pair that’s timeless and that will last! Caroline’s heart sandals are from our favorite toddler sandal brand and they’re really durable and comfy for her. Here is the blog post I wrote about my favorite toddler shoes, and I share more about why I love Sun-San sandals there. My white jeans are maternity jeans because at 6 weeks pregnant I still don’t fit into my old clothes. Hopefully in the next few months though!
