Thanksgiving Cinnamon Roll Turkeys

toddler thanksgiving activity - thanksgiving breakfast idea - toddler thanksgiving activities - cinnamon roll turkey

I did one Thanksgiving activity with the kid this year, and it took about 1 minute to create (my kind of activity).  These cinnamon roll turkeys are not a revolutionary idea and I know they can be found on Pinterest and countless blogs, but in case you’ve never seen it before I wanted to share them here too!

I bought a tube of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and cooked them according to instructions.  Once I removed them from the oven I iced them and then I had Jack insert cooked bacon that I’d broken in half into the roll to create the tail feathers.  Then he added candy eyes and a leftover candy corn from Halloween for the beak.  Thats it!  He loved it and thought it was so fun.  Definitely an easy activity that’s worth doing with your kiddos for Thanksgiving!
