I’m so excited to team up with Waikele Premium Outlets again! I shared some back to school deals at Waikele Premium Outlets a few months ago, and today I’m back to share some holiday outfit and gift ideas for the whole family. (I’ve mostly excluded myself since I’m 34 weeks pregnant and don’t fit into anything these days.) I had a lot of fun sourcing holiday looks for the kids and Tom though, and if we knew the gender of baby #3 I could have easily found some adorable looks for our pre-Christmas family addition too 🙂 If you’re shopping early like I am be sure to check out Waikele Premium Outlets from now until November 17th and save 25% on one item at all participating stores, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, kate spade new york and Coach. Just text GIFT281 to 74666 for details or download the free digital Holiday Deal Guide here.
Holiday Ready with Waikele Premium Outlets
My first stop was Vans Outlet, which a lot of people think of as a skater brand but they also have really classic styles that Tom loves. (And since he’s married to me we all know he’s on the preppier side of things, lol.) He has a pair of gray Vans sneakers already and he wears them all the time with shorts and jeans, so I decided to buy him a khaki and leather pair in the same style. (He’s wearing them in the family photos at the end of the post.)
He wore them the next day with some lighter khaki shorts and a solid dark green t-shirt, and it was a nice pulled together yet super easy look. I was able to get them for half off too because I also bought Jack a pair of the iconic black and white checkered slide on Vans for full price and got the second pair half off. As soon as Jack saw them he had to put them on and called them his racing shoes! For Tom I also loved this brown leather pair (below) and can imagine them looking really nice with jeans or khakis. Unfortunately they didn’t have his size but I may try back later.
Polo Ralph Lauren was my next stop, which is such a good source for timeless pieces. Their kids section is sooooo cute and I was drooling over all of the tartan and sweaters and holiday inspired pieces. It was tough to narrow down the options in the girls’ department but I ended up buying Caroline the simple short-sleeved cream sweater dress because I thought it would photograph nicely with the mixed plaid oxford that I bought for Jack. Aren’t these other options darling though? I think they’d all look great for family photos or holiday parties this season.
For Tom I was strategic in choosing him some items that would work well once he transitions to the post-Army world next year. (Have I mentioned that he’s retiring from the Army?! We are so excited to settle down somewhere once he lands a civilian job!) Anyway, a traditional Polo Ralph Lauren button-down shirt in light green was the perfect choice for him because it compliments his green eyes and can be dressed up or down. Their chino pants are really great too and I love the cut of them. I had a hard time choosing between 2 different colors of khaki, navy, and olive green, but opted for olive green since he doesn’t have anything like this already. Don’t worry, he won’t pair the green shirt and these pants together 🙂 He really likes them and I think they’ll be stylish and versatile as he transitions to a civilian career. I also bought him a dark brown belt because he needed one of those too.
At Polo Ralph Lauren I also bought myself a quilted navy blue peacoat. Not that I need a coat here in Hawaii, but we have less than a year left on island and I realized that I don’t have a navy coat yet (shocker, right?).
I love the cut of it and can imagine living in it next fall and winter. It was only $125 and I was able to save even more because of the current Waikele Premium Outlets “Get Holiday Ready” campaign! I also think this plush navy bathrobe would make an incredible holiday gift. It’s so soft and cozy!
Next, Caroline and I stopped at the Waikele Premium Outlets food court and bought some delicious pad Thai at one of the restaurants. She DEVOURED it. I had no clue she liked Thai food but she was all about the noodles and the chicken. I’m so glad she’s an adventurous little eater!
We quickly popped into Tory Burch, where I loved checking out the great deals on shoes, bags and accessories. Seriously, if you love Tory Burch then shopping at Waikele Premium Outlets makes so much sense. Their prices are amazing and the quality can’t be beat. The loafers below were buttery soft and would look great with jeans or dresses all year long.
kate spade new york was our next stop, and I loved these earrings for the holiday season. I think they’d make great gifts too, and you definitely can’t beat the savings you get at Waikele Premium Outlets.
I’ve had a similar pair of kate spade new york faux pearls for about 8 years and they go with everything. I thought the gold bows earrings were such a fun festive touch too! Oh and Caroline decided that she needed a red leather kate spade new york purse… maybe one day when you’re older, baby girl.
Waikele Premium Outlets has been one of my favorite shopping destinations on Oahu for nearly 10 years (I can’t believe I first moved here that long ago!) and I love that I can now shop for my family there too. If you’re looking to get ready for the holidays early by saving on some wonderful gifts, or if you simply want to get your family ready for Christmas pictures or parties, this is the place to shop on Oahu! Don’t forget to shop early to save 25% on one item at many of the great stores until November 17th!
Below are the looks I pulled together from Waikele Premium Outlets, and I love how they all compliment each other without looking too matchy matchy. I’d probably wear something red, dark green or cream if I fit into more than maternity dresses and shorts these days 🙂
Thanks to Waikele Premium Outlets for sponsoring this post! I only work with companies I love that I think you’ll love too.
Such adorable pictures!! I love the choices that you made! I can’t wait to go shopping at Waikele Premium Outlet at Christmas time!! I’ve got my eye on some of those items as we Christmas shop. See you next month for all the festivities and the arrival of baby Vail!!
