I’ve never done a post like this before but thought it would be fun to share the most popular purchases from Stripes & Whimsy readers from the month of September! So without further ado, here are the 10 top sellers from last month!

Top Stripes & Whimsy Reader Best Sellers – September Edition
1. Amazon Long Sleeve Midi Dress
This dress has gone viral on the internet for a reason, and I’m so glad I jumped on board! It’s a little bit granny chic but it’s so comfy, only $26, and comes in so many different colors. I now own 2 of them and am also eyeing the new Watermelon Red one. There are a number that would be perfect for fall, so this dress is definitely worth checking out. It’s a bit small in the bust (so size up if you’re blessed in that area), but I wear my normal size small, even with a 7 month baby bump.
2. Colorfulkoala High Waisted Yoga Pants 7/8 Length With Pockets
I’ve been talking about these yoga pants for close to a year now, and I’m still in love. They provide a very similar fit to lululemon align crops but at $25 they’re about a quarter of the cost. I run, do yoga, lift weights and wear as leggings (they came with me to Japan, Korea and Ireland this year) and they’ve held up incredibly well and I haven’t had any issues with pilling or losing compression. They’re very high rise so they work great for a postpartum or pregnant belly. I’m still wearing my normal size small (despite gaining 30 pounds by 28 weeks) and they work just fine (though they are getting tighter and the waistband flips down sometimes now). The pockets are also large enough to hold a big phone (I have the iPhone 8 Plus). I 100% recommend these pants, especially for fall!
3. Brown Leather Apple Watch Band
This brown leather Apple watch band is the one I wear the most, and it’s only $12.99! It comes in a ton of colors and I love the simplicity and style of the thin band. Despite it being from Amazon I haven’t had any issues with wear and tear at all.
4. Floral Button Front Maxi Dress
This floral maxi dress is from the same brand that makes the dress I’m wearing in the top photo and it also comes in a pretty red/white color, perfect for fall. The buttons are fully functional so this will be great for nursing. (Top button is decorative…it can be buttoned but I don’t think it’s meant to be.) It has a draw string waist and it would definitely work better without a bump but I just pull it up a little bit and it works well with one too! (As seen in this photo.) If you’re looking for an affordable and cute maxi-dress (only $26.99) this is a great one! Definitely size up though, if you’re pregnant or not. The shoulders are on the tight side and I don’t have a large chest or shoulders at all. I wear a medium and they shoulders are still a bit tight.
5. Blush Sweater Blazer
I wore the earlier version of this sweater blazer on our Asia trip this spring, and I loooooove it! It’s now available at J.Crew Factory (meaning it’s way cheaper than what I paid for it) and it’s such a perfect layering piece (over leggings, with jeans, with a dress, etc.). I wear my normal size small and it’s a tad oversized, which I like. Currently on sale for $49, which is an incredible deal!
6. Striped 3/4 Sleeve Boatneck Shirt
This striped boatneck top is available in a number of colors and it was the most popular item from my Walmart fall fashion post. It looks way higher end and even though I didn’t buy it I absolutely loved it, especially this yellow color. Only $10! True to size (but size up if you’re pregnant, I’m wearing a medium in the blog post).
7. Navy Blue Button Front Nightgown
I bought this $19.99 nightgown to wear in the hospital after I give birth! I’ve already been wearing it though because it is sooooooo soft and works with a bump. (I sized up to a medium.) It’ll be great for nursing because of the buttons. It seriously looks and feels way more expensive than $19.99. Also comes in a couple different colors. I have the short sleeve top and shorts set too (only $21.99), and this style of pajamas is what I basically live in, especially in the early newborn days.
8. Dainty Gold Necklace
I’ve owned the Tiffany version of this dainty little necklace for 10 years and I still wear it every day (I seriously never even take it off to shower, exercise or swim). This one I’ve linked here is from Etsy though, and is a fraction of the cost! (To get the look of the one that I have you’ll want to choose the .08 ct diamond, yellow gold, and 16″ length.)
9. Oversized Tortoise Sunglasses
These sunglasses are the best! And you can’t beat the $10 price tag. I wear them almost daily and they look very similar to the J.Crew Factory ones I also have that are no longer available anymore. Nice and simple and not too big.
10. Leopard Sweater Blazer
I shared how to style this leopard print sweater blazer 5 different ways in this blog post from last month. It’ll be such a fall/winter staple in any closet for years to come! So comfy and such a wonderful layering piece. I seriously can’t get enough of J.Crew’s cozy sweater blazers. (I sized down to an XS because the Small just made me think of an oversized leopard sweater from the 90’s haha)

I am loving the blazers from J Crew you’ve linked. I have an amazing leopard print sweater so am on the fence if I need a blazer version. Hehe
Totally understandable! The sweater blazer style is so versatile, so if you don’t have one already then the camel, navy or blush are great options that may be a bit more versatile than the leopard, since you already have a leopard print sweater. Camel is next on my list!
