I wasn’t sure if I’d write a blog post on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or not (it can be a bit overdone in my opinion), but I received 418 “yes” votes (and 70 “no”) when I asked if I should share the classic and preppy pieces I’d actually wear that I think are worth investing in, so that convinced me to write a post! The sale is only open to card holders until the 18th (which I’m not) but it will open to the public after that date and go through August 5th. The highlight for me is this Longchamp bag (it’s expandable!) because I have owned my Longchamp bags for 8 years and they’re still staples in my wardrobe (see my post from Ireland). This particular bag is normally $200 but it’s down to $133 for the sale, so if you’re looking for a classic bag that will never go out of style this is one I’d recommend. Mine aren’t expandable but I wish it was! I also love this striped long sleeved t-shirt (dropped shoulders are my favorite on striped shirts), this quilted jacket (such a great layering piece for the fall and winter), this sweater blazer (I own two, as seen in this blog post from Ireland and this one from Japan), this beautiful dress (Gal Meets Glam has the prettiest dresses and I love the one that I own), these pink gingham pajamas (y’all know I love a good pj set), and this sweater from J.Crew (I own this style in so many colors, and this leopard print one is basically a neutral!). And if we didn’t live in Hawaii I’d 100% purchase these faux leather leggings. They look like they’d be an incredibly versatile wardrobe staple and I’ve heard so many good things about them.
As always, these items are included here if you are in the market for a wardrobe refresh and if you’re in a season where you can afford it. Don’t feel like you need to shop this sale, truthfully I don’t think I will because I don’t need fall or non-maternity clothes since I’m pregnant and live in Hawaii. If you do shop though, I’m ALWAYS so thankful when you use my links! I’ll get a small commission for the referral and it won’t cost you any extra 🙂 I appreciate your support so much!
