My love for blue and white is no secret, and it’s out in full force during summer. Especially around the patriotic holidays! Here are some photos take on the 4th of July as we were heading out on a walk to get some donuts and a little exercise (as I type that I now see the humor in it haha).
outfit details:
packable sun hat with striped ribbon | dress (non-maternity, definitely runs large and I’m wearing a 4) | sandals (similar) | Apple watch strap | basket bag painted by The Monogram Corner | Caroline’s bubble | Caroline’s sandals | Jack’s shoes
I’ve always loved summer but it’s even more fun now that I have kiddos to share it with. Jack kept shouting “Happy Birthday ‘Merica!” all day and it was the sweetest thing ever. Both kids stayed up late to watch the fireworks and loved it! Caroline was scared at first but eventually started jumping up to try to catch them.
Blue and White Pieces for Summer
The bag I’m carrying here is my old basket bag that I bought last summer on Etsy! Erica of The Monogram Corner thought it looked a little plain so she reached out to me and offered to paint it for me. Now I love the bag even more (here is the listing for the one that is almost exactly like mine)! Blue and white plus a monogram is a match made in heaven, in my opinion. If you’re looking for a great personalized item for yourself or as a gift be sure to check out The Monogram Corner! She can also paint something you already own, which I think is a really great thing to offer. Thanks again, Erica, for refreshing my bag for me!
Here are some other blue and white pieces I’m loving for summer. I have a number of them already and many are bump-friendly even if they’re non-maternity. (I included a few maternity pieces as well since I’m at the point where many regular clothes don’t fit my 16 week bump anymore.) Have a great weekend, everyone!
Loooooove the new format!!!

Thanks Sarah! I like making collages but having to then do the links and everything and remove background on the collage was way more labor intensive than I can handle right now. Glad I found an easy alternative!
I like this format a lot more! It’s nice to just directly click on the image to get to the product. And if it’s easier for you–even better! Keep up the good work. 🙂
