I’ve been a dedicated Walmart clothing shopper for over a year now, which is why I’m incredibly excited to team up with the company on this Walmart Fashion post to help make your summer wardrobe easy breezy and affordable too! (For a walk down memory lane you can read all of my blog posts about my Walmart finds here.) I make the rounds at Walmart about once a week and it’s rare for me to come home without something new for my wardrobe. The prices and classic styles you can find are irresistible to me! Time and Tru is my go-to Walmart brand (though I love Athletic Works sneakers and tank tops). Sharing affordable finds with you all is one of my favorite things to do, so let’s get started with this effortless summer outfit!
Easy Breezy Summer Staples from Walmart
On my most recent Walmart run I decided to give these wide leg linen blend pants a shot. I had been a bit hesitant to embrace the wide leg trend because I wasn’t sure I could pull them off, but these are the perfect cropped length (I’m 5’5″), the waistband is elastic and really comfy, and they make for such an effortless look on a warm summer day. It was super windy when we took these photos at Bellows yesterday so you can see just how much movement these pants have in them, which is exactly what you want in a pair of linen or linen blend pants. They come in a navy, black, and a striped pattern too but I just couldn’t resist this olive green pair! I think olive is such a great and underestimated neutral color that is incredibly versatile.
The brown slide on H band sandals went with us to the Big Island last weekend (Tom competed in a 70.3 mile triathlon) and even though I brought a second pair of sandals on the trip I ended up wearing these sandals the whole time. They’re the perfect shade of brown and are under $8! I think they run a tad narrow so I sized up from an 8 to a 9. White tops are a staple in my wardrobe, and this tank is woven like a shell top instead of being t-shirt material, which helps elevate these pants a bit. I threw my hair in a messy high ponytail, put on a pair of Time and Tru gold scalloped hoops (under $3 but only available in store…run to your Walmart to snag these because they are SO good) and grabbed this navy straw circle tote and I was good to go on this pretty Hawaiian summer day!
We’ll be flying to the mainland next week and then on to Ireland with Tom’s family and I already told him that these are going to be my travel pants all summer. They’re like pajamas but you can wear them in public and it’s totally acceptable.
Here are more of the Walmart pieces I’ve purchased over the past few months that I’d 100% recommend:
sleeveless knit dress (has pockets, comes in tons of colors and flatters all figures, as seen here)
short sleeve boatneck t-shirt (I own the red striped and the lemon lime striped ones, as seen here)
shoulder-tie tank (I have the white one but want the navy one too)
Athletic Works sneakers (I wore these every day of our Japan and Korea trip. They saved my feet!)
open front cardigan (I own it in cream and LOVE this as a layering piece. Comes in lots of colors.)
short sleeve linen button down tie blouse (perfect to wear with white denim and it’s nursing friendly)
high rise skinny jeans (I have these in 3 colors, and the white pair is my favorite, as seen here! They’re no longer available but these jeggings have a similar fit with a pull-on waistband)
Be sure to head on over to Walmart for more incredible fashion finds! You can even shop online and select in-store pickup when you check out so you don’t have to wait for your items to ship 🙂

I need your magical clothing shopping talents at Wal Mart. I look through stuff when I remember, but I can never seem to find the stuff you share.

It’s definitely hit or miss and takes some digging! I wish more was available online, that would make it so much easier since some stores get picked over really quickly!
