If I had to choose one color combo to live with for the rest of my life it would most definitely be blue and white. I’ve been a longtime fan of navy blue and cobalt blue, but recently I’ve really fallen in love with cornflower (and periwinkle) blue. And lucky for me, this color seems to be everywhere these days! The scallops on my white camisole and cornflower blue skirt made this outfit so much fun to wear. If you’re a blue and white lover you’ve got to scoop this affordable outfit up! Perfect for spring and summer date nights! Oh and my talented friend Steph of Stephanie H. Photography took these photos for me a few weeks ago at Barber’s Point Lighthouse. The lighting was against us because it was super harsh due to the time to day, but she managed to take some beautiful photos and I’m so thankful for her!

I’ve had the olive version (called “deep moss”) of this skirt for over a year and it’s the best skirt ever. High-waisted with pockets, it’s super flattering and the fabric is nice and casual. I wear a size 2, and would say it’s true to size.
I had been eyeing this scalloped camisole for a few years but resisted buying it because I hate wearing strapless bras. Then I realized that this would be the perfect opportunity to embrace the bralette trend! I’m wearing this one that I bought back when I was pregnant and it’s not exactly ideal in the front, but you get the idea. Just choose a bralette with thin straps (that aren’t adjustable, I think the visible straps look a little classier without the plastic adjuster) and you’re good to go! Many bralettes don’t have padding, so I just added some lululemon sports bra cups for a little extra coverage. Worked like a charm. I’m wearing a size 4 in the tank. It’s a dressy tank and I didn’t want it to be clingy because it doesn’t have any give, so if you can go between 2 different sizes at J.Crew Factory I’d opt for the larger of the two.
A straw bag is a great addition to any outfit in warm months, so I used this one I bought on Etsy last summer. It’s great for farmers markets or picnics or any time you may need to carry lots of stuff. I like that it comes in two different strap options, and I opted for the long straps.
I wore my new go-to affordable woven rattan earrings (blogged about here), tortoise shell sunglasses (similar here and here), my favorite dainty necklace (from Tiffany but here is a cheaper CZ version!), and a pair of Jack Rogers sandals. Such an easy, breezy outfit that is comfortable too!
