I rarely browse the stores this time of year because every place is selling winter clothes yet it’s 90 degrees here in Hawaii. I had a little time and was baby-free the other day though, so I thought it would be fun to do another installment of Fashion Finds from Walmart! I shared this summer clothes post back in July so I thought it was about time I did another one.
Walmart can be a surprising source for cute clothes and home decor, but it’s easy to get overwhelmed and not want to weed through the not-so-cute stuff. I found a bunch of cozy and stylish things though, so no need to do the hard work yourself!
This chunky cable-knit sweater is only $16.94 and it looks almost exactly like this Banana Republic one for $129. Oversized cable-knit sweaters are super popular right now and if you’re looking for an affordable option this one is really cozy (it’s made of chenille so it’s super soft)! It comes in four colors but winter white is my favorite. I’m wearing a size small which is my normal size but if you wanted a more oversized look you could probably size up.
This shirt comes in 8 colors and the ruffle on the sleeve adds a fun little detail to an otherwise simple t-shirt. I’m partial to the gray and white striped one but I like the heathered gray one a lot too. It’s only $9.94! I’m wearing a small and it runs a bit large.
Thermal henleys are so popular right now, though I certainly have no use for one in Hawaii. So buy this and I’ll live vicariously through you! This top comes in 6 colors and I’m wearing the olive branch one. Runs true to size (I’m wearing a small). Only $8.96!
This Time and Tru rain jacket is perfection. Unfortunately it’s sold out in most sizes online but it is only $24.96 and I looooove it. I’d wear it on a rainy day with athletic clothes but I can also see styling it with jeans, rain boots and a cozy striped sweater underneath. It comes in a few different colors but navy was my favorite. Go check your store and hopefully you’ll be able to track it down! I found it in the athletic section. I’m wearing a small.
These jeans are so comfy! I’m wearing a size 2 and they’re perfect. (I’m typically a 2 or 4 most places.) They’re a little more relaxed in the ankle/lower leg than any jeans I’ve worn in years but I like them a lot. The cropped length is really great (I’m 5’5″ and they hit just above the ankle). This is the mojave wash and they’re only $19.94!
I can’t find this turtleneck tunic online but maybe it’ll be in your local store. It’s so soft and cozy and I wish I had a reason to buy it so I could pair it with a pair of black leggings. (I promise I’d wear it with pants…I didn’t have any leggings in the fitting room which is why I don’t have any on haha) It’s only $16.94 and true to size (I’m wearing a small).
This Flex Tech Hoodie from Avia is amazing! I have a lululemon hoodie in the same color and this reminds me of it a lot. It would be great for running or to and from the gym (or for any time, really). Great material and very cute silhouette. Comes in 4 colors and is only $19.86. (I’m wearing a small.)
As always, thanks to all of you who shop through the links on my blog! I put many hours and lots of work into these style posts and I make a tiny commission if you buy anything after clicking on my links, and it doesn’t cost you any extra. (You can even buy other stuff you need (like Christmas gifts wink wink) and I’ll get a commission from that too.) Consider me your personal shopper! You certainly don’t have to do it that way but I would be very grateful. By doing so it’ll make all the work worthwhile and it’ll allow me to compile this sort of post more often. I love sharing fashion tips and finds with you but finding all the items and links takes more time than you may think. Also, I’m on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app which makes shopping my outfits and things I share a breeze. I’d love for you to follow me there (same username as my instagram handle: lifewithadashofwhimsy)! Thank you for your support and for following along on all platforms.
