Happy May! Spring has officially sprung in most parts of the country, and I can tell that summer is on its way. My May wish list includes some nice springy pieces that will transition well for the warmer months ahead. While I can’t fit into most “normal” clothing now, I can’t help but keep an eye on all the cute non-maternity new releases.
I just bought these white slip-on Sperrys and I think they will go well with dresses, shorts and jeans. I like when people wear Converse Chuck Taylors (and I did almost buy this pair) but I’m just not edgy enough to feel like I can pull them off…but preppy white Sperrys I can handle.
I’ve seen Julia from Gal Meets Glam wear these ruffled seersucker shorts a few times recently on Instagram and I love the look of them. Perfect for wearing with a tucked in oxford or t-shirt. If I wasn’t pregnant I would totally scoop these up.
When I go to the beach I like to wear a baseball cap. They stay on better than sun hats do when it’s windy, which is essential when you’re wrangling a toddler. I have a seersucker baseball cap from J.Crew that is about 5 years old and I wear it almost every day at the beach. It’s starting to get beat up so I’m thinking I need this pink baseball cap. I like caps that don’t have logos or anything on them, so this simple pink hat looks perfect.
This scalloped tote is so on-trend right now, and only $49! It’s a really nice color for spring and summer too.
I saw this white eyelet top at the store a few days ago and really fell in love. I’m a sucker for white tees because you can wear them with everything. Most of mine are pretty boring, but I like having a few with a little more detail or feminine touches. The eyelet on this top is really pretty.
