Being a mom means being “on” all the time.  Chasing babies around, changing diapers, cleaning up all the toys…the to do list goes on and on.  It’s easy to neglect yourself when there’s a baby in the house, but I think it’s really important to take a little time for yourself every day even if it’s just for 15 minutes.  As I’ve mentioned before, my beauty routine has gotten pretty minimal this past year, but a couple things are nonnegotiables: I always wash my face and I always moisturize my face and body.  I’ve recently started using the Mediterranean Citrus Blissful Body Butter by Coastal Salt & Soul and I’m absolutely in love with it.  The smell is amazing, it’s not greasy at all, and it does a fantastic job of keeping my skin moisturized.  The packaging is beautiful too, which is always a plus.

I also love the Coastal Salt & Soul Ocean Gardenia Heavenly Hand Cream.  You know that amazing scent that hits your nose when you walk into Anthropologie?  Well, this lotion has that same smell, and it’s hands down my most favorite hand lotion ever.  My hands get super dry in the winter but I really hate having greasy hands so finding a good hand lotion is a constant struggle for me.  I know this Coastal Salt & Soul lotion will be a go-to as the weather gets colder!  Coastal Salt & Soul is a California based company and they have so many beautifully packaged and wonderfully scented products, so if you want to treat yourself or you’re looking for a great present or hostess gift, you’ve got to check them out!

Oh and I’m not sure if you noticed, but I’ve finally shared a little peek at our master bedroom!  This room has been a bit neglected because no one really sees it other than us, but I’m slowly working on it.  The bench was a Salvation Army find from when we lived in Maryland (I blogged about it and the new cushion here), I found the bamboo screen that’s behind the bed when I was visiting my parents in Georgia, and the nightstand was a purchase from Z Gallerie over 7 years ago.  The top mirrored portion is missing because the movers shattered it so it’s not looking as great as it should, but this was my first “splurge” piece after I graduated from college so I’ll probably keep this piece forever.
