I’m such a sucker for the nautical look.  Give me some stripes, classic navy and white and a little pop of red and gold and I’m a happy girl.  And if you give me a cute baby that I get to coordinate with then I’m even happier 🙂  I bought Jack’s little “Seaside Kid” shirt at H&M a while ago and I’m so glad it finally fits him!  And a note about my sweater: I’ve had this navy cotton Tory Burch sweater for almost 5 years and it is probably the most worn item in my closet.  It’s an investment piece but it seriously goes with everything.

We took these photos one evening while we were in Destin.  To be honest, Jack took too long of a nap because he was exhausted from the pool so we lost our opportunity to go out to eat, so instead we went and took some pictures on the beach and then went back to the hotel.  I fed Jack and put him to bed and then Tom and I had some hotel restaurant food, a glass of wine and we played Scrabble on his iPhone.  Not the most exciting night but it was the perfect way to wind down after a long day outside in the sun.

Jack is so adorable, and I just love the way he is holding on to you in the third pic <3

Thanks Karen! I know that just melted my heart. He was kind of scared of the water but curious about it too, so he was holding on tight and would turn to me when a wave would come. I'm so glad Tom captured this moment!
