Hi folks! I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m officially 30 weeks pregnant today, and I can’t believe I’m rounding the final stretch. Baby boy moves around all the time, especially when I’m trying to rest. Fitness-wise, I felt pretty good this past week. Running has become more of a problem, but I’m back to my strength training routine which makes me happy and feel good. I even managed to hit my goal of working out 5 times! We are moving tomorrow and over the next few days, so I don’t want to make a fitness goal for this next week. I will try to squeeze a few workouts in when I’m not unpacking boxes and decorating though 🙂

Monday, 8/17. 2.67 mile elliptical workout in 30 minutes. I’m going to start doing the elliptical more often because it’s easier on the bladder and my back. I felt like I had one long Braxton-Hicks contraction the whole time. Not the most pleasant way to do cardio! I did high resistance and high incline on the machine.
Wednesday, 8/19. Hour long Body Pump class with Tom. I felt strong and even woke up easily for the 5:30 AM class (a true oddity…I don’t do mornings very well)! I’m really happy to get back to my strength training routine. Hopefully I’ll be able to continue up until the baby comes!
Thursday, 8/20. 2.84 mile elliptical workout in 30 minutes. I did low incline (because the machine wouldn’t adjust for some reason) at high resistance on the machine.
Friday, 8/21. Hour long early morning Body Pump class with Tom.
Sunday, 8/23. 2.4 mile run around the lake in 30 minutes. Felt great at the beginning but I got a cramp after 1 mile and had to slow down a good bit. Tom caught up to me after he finished his long run and did the last mile and a half with me. I’m ready to get back to my normal running self…just a few more months!
