Anybody here an avid perfume wearer? I feel naked when I don’t have any on, so I wear it every single day (even in my Army uniform). On days I forget to apply it, or on days I go to the gym and don’t have time to take a shower immediately, I use one of my travel roll-on perfumes (at the moment I’m loving Kate Spade Live Colorfully), and I immediately feel more pulled together (and less stinky if I just left the gym). There are so many different options for us women, but what about the guys?
My friend from childhood, Kevin, recently started a men’s grooming company, Fulton & Roark, as a project while he was getting his MBA in Winston-Salem, NC. The company make solid colognes for men, and as it turns out, Kevin found an unclaimed niche in the men’s grooming world. Unsurprisingly, Fulton & Roark has gotten lots of attention recently, and was even featured in the February issue of Southern Living! All of the solid colognes are named for Southern barrier islands, which I think is a really neat idea.
I decided to buy the Tybee solid cologne for my boyfriend so that he could use after workouts, and when we travel (TSA carry-on approved!). I think it’s such a great idea so that a man can smell good even while on the go! I chose Tybee because it’s a clean scent that smells really nice and masculine. It smells a little strong before applied, but once it’s applied and settles the smell is amazing. If you’re looking for a unique gift for the man in your life, give this solid cologne a shot!

Might have to get a bar (?) for my old Army guy….seems handy. I doubt he will wear it in uniform, except Dress Mess when we have a "mandatory date." 😉 Thanks!
It really is great stuff and very handy! I kept smelling my boyfriend when he was wearing it because I liked it so much 🙂
Thanks for sharing!
